Welcome to the Rockland Youth Symphony, an organization dedicated to bringing young musicians together to share the inspiring, challenging, and rewarding experience of playing in a full symphony orchestra. Founded by the Rockland County Music Teachers Guild, an organization that has been serving music students of Rockland County for more than 70 years, the Rockland Youth Symphony is led by Everhard Paredes, an extraordinarily talented world-renowned violinist and conductor, who shares his infectious spirit and enthusiasm for performing. The young musicians will rehearse weekly and two concerts are scheduled for the season.
